MSI-HS Series Linear Position Sensor with Start/Stop Output

Rod-type, high-precision, absolute, contactless, magnetostrictive sensor with an operating range from 25 to 3800 mm.
Position measurements are performed using ring-shaped position magnets that move along the waveguide without physical contact.
The sensor flange is made of high-quality stainless steel and is designed for long-term operation.

DIGITAL INTERFACE START/STOP

The "Ready" signal generation indicates a new measurement cycle and occurs in the Start/Stop module simultaneously with the "Start" signal.

After the "Start" signal is generated, the Start/Stop module switches to line listening mode and waits for the "Stop" signal from the linear position sensor. The time difference (dt) between the "Start" and "Stop" signals is directly proportional to the position of the position magnet.
