MSI-D Series Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor with DeviceNet Output

Rod-style, high-precision, absolute, non-contact magnetostrictive position sensor with remote electronics, featuring a measuring range from 25 to 3800 mm. Position measurement is performed using ring-type position magnets that move along the waveguide without physical contact. The sensor flange is made of high-quality stainless steel and is designed for long-term industrial operation.

* Нулевая точка указывается при заказе датчика и может быть установлена на расстоянии 30 или 50 мм

* Немагнитная распорка №1 устанавливается, только в том случае, если нулевая точка находится на расстоянии 30 мм
от фланца датчика линейного положения и гильза датчика выполнена из магнитного материала.

Interface

DeviceNet is a protocol based on the CAN (Controller Area Network) standard. DeviceNet supports a maximum data rate of 500 kbit/s, and positioning resolution can reach up to 2 µm.

The network topology is bus. Nodes can be easily added or removed, reducing production downtime, increasing network flexibility, and shortening troubleshooting time. The network supports up to 64 devices.

Installation of a sensor with the DeviceNet interface is fast and straightforward. Sensor parameters are loaded into the PLC using an Electronic Data Sheet (EDS) file.
